What does Sugamya charge?
A commission of 15% of the trip fare (GST not included). It is fixed when a booking is confirmed and shown on every booking and statement. Sugamya pays the payment gateway fees.
When and how am I paid?
Every week. Sugamya issues a weekly statement with your trips, the commission, any refunds and the TDS, and pays the net amount to your bank account by NEFT. The statement shows the bank reference (UTR).
Do I need GST registration?
No. Sugamya is the electronic commerce operator under section 9(5) of the CGST Act and pays the GST on rides booked through it. A GSTIN is optional.
How much TDS is deducted?
Income-tax TDS under section 194-O at 0.1% of your ride earnings when your PAN is verified, or 5% without a valid PAN. It is shown on each weekly statement.
Who can register?
An individual who owns a cab (and drives it, hires drivers, or both), proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, private, public and one-person companies, HUFs, cooperative societies including taxi unions, societies, trusts and associations of persons.
Can I drive without owning a cab?
Yes. Sign up, register as a driver with your licence and documents, then join a fleet with its invite code or the owner's partner code.
Which cities do you serve?
Gorakhpur first. Rides are offered only in the cities Sugamya has opened.
How do referrals work?
Every partner gets a referral code. When a partner you referred is verified and completes the qualifying trips, both of you get a bonus on your next statement. Sugamya sets the amounts, and the app shows them.
What if a rider cancels?
The rider gets a full refund 24 hours or more before pickup, half between 4 and 24 hours, and none under 4 hours. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Is the app available?
The Sugamya Cab Partner app is coming to Google Play. Today you can do everything in the web portal.
How do I delete my account?
From Account in the app or the portal. If something is still open, such as a trip or an unpaid statement, you are told what to finish first.
